Soms kan dit uitstralen naar de bil of been. Tillen, zitten en bukken geven dan vaak pijn. Soms kunnen de rugklachten zo erg zijn dat het je belemmerd in je dagelijkse leven. Gelukkig kan je rugklachten met fysiotherapie goed behandelen. Met de juiste diagnose en de oorzaak te achterhalen van de rugklachten kan de behandeling gestart worden. Soms zijn lichte aanpassingen aan de houding en beweging al genoeg om de rugklachten te verminderen. Bij andere rugklachten is het nodig om de rug sterker en stabieler te maken. Dan is oefentherapie onder begeleiding van mij als fysiotherapeut heel belangrijk. Er zal gebruik worden gemaakt van de oefen en fitness zaal om de juiste oefeningen uit te voeren voor jou klacht. Onze wervelkolom is opgebouwd uit verschillende wervels. Wervels zijn botten. Tussen elke wervel zit weer een tussenwervelschijf ( discus). Dit dient als demping. Deze tussenwervelschijf bestaat uit een omhulsel met een zachte\/weke kern er in. Die kern zorgt voor veerkracht van de rugwervel. Als het omhulsel beschadigd raakt of een zwakke plek heeft, kan de kern wat uit gaan puilen. De uitpuiling die dan ontstaat wordt hernia genoemd. Als die hernia dan ook nog tegen een zenuw aan drukt, kun je last krijgen van verschillende symptomen zoals scherpe pijn naar been, verminderde gevoel, pijn in de onderrug of krachtverlies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Werd er vroeger nog gedacht dat bedrust goed was bij een hernia, is tegenwoordig niet meer zo. Voldoende rust is belangrijk, maar ook op een goede manier bewegen kan helpen voor herstel. Als fysiotherapeut kan je hier een balans in geven. Ook is houding een belangrijk aspect.<\/p>\n<p>Wat kan je zelf doen? Het is belangrijk dat je rust en beweging afwisselt. Soms helpt pijnstilling. Paracetamol kan de ergste pijn verminderen, zodat je wel kan blijven bewegen. En belangrijk is dat je niet gaat overbelasten of bewegingen forceren. Je ben de tuin aan het werken, je staat te snel op uit bed, dat noemen we spit. Dit komt door verkrampte rugspieren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ook al is de pijn soms heel pijnlijk, het is geen ernstige aandoening. Spit ontstaat vaak door mensen die zwaar lichamelijk werk doen of vaak in een verkeerde houding zitten\/staan. Stress of andere druk van buitenaf kunnen dan soms de druppel zijn dat het in de rug schiet.<\/p>\n<p>Heel belangrijk is dat je wel blijft bewegen. Doordat spit een verkramping is, krijg je alleen nog maar meer stijve spieren, en dat zorgt voor nog meer klachten. Ook kan warmte d.m.v. een kruik of warme douche helpen. Blijf bewust en gecontroleerd bewegen, en neem eventueel pijnstilling om zo wel te kunnen blijven bewegen.<\/p>\n<p>Vaak gaan spitklachten vanzelf over. Als je last hebt van &#8216;Ischias&#8217; dan betekent het dat deze zenuw ge\u00efrriteerd is. Hij kan ook ontstoken of beschadigd zijn. Dat kan komen doordat er door een of andere reden druk op de zenuw ontstaat. Afhankelijk van hoeveel druk er op staat, geeft de hoeveelheid klachten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Oorzaken van een ischias zijn vaak verandering van stand van de lage rug, bekken of been. Maar ook komt het door bijvoorbeeld;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zwangerschap<\/li>\n<li>Druk op de zenuw<\/li>\n<li>Hernia<\/li>\n<li>Niet goed functionerende gewrichten<\/li>\n<li>Kou\/Griep<\/li>\n<li>Slechte conditie of houding<\/li>\n<li>Bovenmatige inspanning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De pijn wordt vaak gevoeld als een stekende of brandende zenuwpijn in de bil dat uitstraalt naar het been.
